Returning back to Eastbourne late afternoon. Day 3 Visit the charming market town of Battle, which took its name  from the famous Battle of Hastings. On then to the flourishing market  town of Rye, whose rich history is very much in evidence. This  afternoon, travel to Hastings, home to the remains of the first castle  in England to be built by William the Conqueror. Finally, on to the  timeless Edwardian seaside town of Bexhill on Sea which is also the  birthplace of British motor racing. Day 4  At leisure in Eastbourne relaxing in the hotel or perhaps have a  stroll along the promenade, maybe itís time to visit the shops.  Day 5 Today we depart our hotel for our leisurely homeward journey.  Arriving home late afternoon. Day 1  Morning departure from your local joining point we make our way to Portsmouth for the short ferry crossing to the Island. Then itís just a 30 min drive to our hotel arriving with time before our evening meal. Day 2  Our Excursion today takes us to Alum Bay (The Needles) There are so many wonderful things to see and do at The Needlesplenty of places to eat. After Lunch we make our way to Yarmouth the historic port town sits at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight, including a 16th Century castle.   Day 3  A Day to Spend at leisure relaxing in the hotel or explore the charming resort of Shanklin. Day 4  This morning we travel to Ryde with itís sandy beaches which stretch right along the town, Ryde has a great selection of shops, museums and galleries for you to visit along with lots of other things to see and do along its esplanade. In the afternoon we visit Godshill Village with its charming thatched cottages, tea shop and gift shop before returning to our hotel. Day 5  Today we must depart the hotel after breakfast for our homeward journey via Winchester time allowing. Arriving home late afternoon/ early evening depending on your joining point. Day 1 departure from your local joining point then we travel north with comfort stops en route. Arriving at our hotel late afternoon. Day 2 morning 0900 we have a scenic drive via Horseshoe Pass  to Llangollenthis small town has a wealth of independent shops to browse and interesting places to visit.the river tumble down beneath the bridge You can’t miss the steam railway or watch a horse-drawn canal boat gliding along the canal. On our return journey we visit Betws-y-Coed the principal village of the Snowdonia National Park in a nutshella bustling mountain resort at the gateway to Snowdonia. Day 3 our coach takes us to Conway it’s picturesque quayside overlooked by the mighty Conwy Castle.
